Lifeline is a drop-in centre open Monday – Friday (10am-12pm) offering a hot breakfast, clothing, shower and wash facilities, as well as one-to-one support. Volunteers can greet and welcome visitors, hand out food and drinks and help with the clothing store.

Lunch Box

Lunch Box is currently looking for volunteers to join their team on Mondays or Wednesdays between 11:30am – 2:30pm.

Pathways Programme

Are you a good listener? Can you offer practical solutions to personal problems?

We’re looking for Volunteer Mentors to assist with our new Pathways Programme – four mentoring streams to support people to become empowered and independent.

Bath Foodbank

Warehouse Operations Manager – Bath Foodbank requires a volunteer Warehouse Operations Manager to ensure the warehouse and van delivery operate as efficiently as possible. For more information, see the core responsibilities.

Foodbank Warehouse – We currently need two volunteers to assist at the Foodbank Warehouse in Batheaston. This involves sorting the donations that are picked up by the van team. Time commitment is Tuesdays 10am-12noon.

The Hub, Mulberry Park (Combe Down) – We’re looking for volunteers to help at a new food bank opening in January 2020. Volunteers are needed on Wednesday afternoons (2-4pm) or Saturday mornings (10am – 12noon).

Life Skills

Do you love healthy eating and cookery? We are running a Healthy Eating for Wellbeing Cookery Course at the Gateway Centre on London Road starting on Tuesday November 12th 2019, and we would love a volunteer for this 5 week course, Tuesdays 1:45 – 4:30pm.

Furniture Project 

The Furniture Project has been established in Bath for over 20 years. It provides affordable furniture and household goods to those on low income throughout the B&NES area, as well as collecting donated furniture no longer in use and restoring it.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help in our retail warehouse as well as on the vans, collecting donated household items and delivering purchased items. Read the Role Description.
