Lunch Box was launched in 2000. We offer a hot lunchtime meal at St Michael’s Church every Monday and Wednesday 12.30 – 1.30pm. Our visitors are rough sleepers, people who are vulnerably housed and those on low incomes.
We are currently looking for a volunteer cook on Wednesdays between 11:30am – 2:30pm to cook a simple breakfast meal for our visitors. Cooking takes place between 12 – 1:30pm so the role would not require cooking the whole time.
If you are interested in the position then please contact the Lunch Box Coordinator.
The Furniture Project has been established in Bath for over 20 years. It provides affordable furniture and household goods to those on low income throughout the B&NES area, as well as collecting donated furniture no longer in use and restoring it. The Furniture Project offers the opportunity to contribute to your local community, learn news skills, gain work experience, and become part of a friendly and stimulating team environment.
We are currently seeking volunteers to help in our retail warehouse as well as on the vans, collecting donated household items and delivering purchased items. Volunteers work as part of our team alongside our Furniture Project Manager. Working hours are flexible; however some time commitment is required.
