Our Lifeline drop-in centre offers immediate support for people who are homeless, vulnerably housed or those experiencing complex problems, such as financial insecurity or drug and alcohol addiction. It is a place of refuge, providing a warm, safe and welcoming space with hot breakfast 5 mornings a week, hot drinks, emergency food parcels, clothing, computers, and a shower and wash facilities. Our staff work one-to-one with people to help them move on from crisis to independence.
We are based at the Friends Meeting House, York Street. Opening hours: Monday – Friday 10am to 12pm.

The Furniture Project has been established in Bath for over 20 years. It provides affordable furniture and household goods to those on low income throughout the B&NES area, as well as collecting donated furniture no longer in use and restoring it. The Furniture Project offers the opportunity to contribute to your local community, learn news skills, gain work experience, and become part of a friendly and stimulating team environment.
We are currently seeking volunteers to help in our retail warehouse as well as on the vans, collecting donated household items and delivering purchased items. Volunteers work as part of our team alongside our Furniture Project Manager. Working hours are flexible; however some time commitment is required.
