Challenge events are a great way to fund raise. Completing a challenge not only comes with huge personal rewards, it can make a big difference to those in need.
Following the success of our Bath Abbey abseil, we’ve organised another unique abseil event at Bath Elim Church. The abseil is being held on Saturday 15th September from 9am – 5pm and we have 54 spaces for intrepid fundraisers to take part. Everyone is welcome as long as you’re over 12 years old.
Got a spring in your step? Don the trainers and raise some money in one of these upcoming running events.
Bath Hilly Half and Ultra 10k on November 11th and Bath Half on March 17th are a great opportunity to discover the beautiful local surroundings, whilst making a big difference to people struggling in the city. Registration is free.
Fancy stepping it up? The London Marathon takes place on April 28th and offers the perfect opportunity to push yourself and raise money to support hungry, homeless and disadvantaged people. Download our form to take part.
Abbey, who took part last year, said “Thank you so much for letting me be a part of Genesis Trust, I have thoroughly enjoyed the fundraising, training and the day will remain with me forever!”
Running not for you? Get on your bike and take part in Bike Bath. This local cycling event gives riders the choice of 25, 50 or 80 mile routes. Registration is free and we ask for a fundraising total of just £150. Email us to take part.
Taking part in your own challenge or one of these smaller ones is just as rewarding as the bigger events. From endurance activities such as Tough Mudder and the Battle of Lansdown to long walks on the Cotswold Way. There are numerous events taking place across the country.
