Fancy a Challenge in 2019?

Adrenaline, adventure or arduous – whatever you seek there is a challenge event out there for you!

Challenge events are a great opportunity to achieve your own personal goals while raising money and awareness for homeless and vulnerable people in Bath.

Our Amazing Runners

So far this year our Bath Half runners raised over £10,000, and a particular shout out must go to Matt and Megan Harris who raised over £3,000 for Bath Foodbank.

On 28th April 2019, six people will tackle the London Marathon, taking on the 26.2-mile challenge to help other people with their own personal life challenges.

The Marathon is part of the London Classics, a trio of challenge events alongside RideLondon and Swim Serpentine. Genesis has secured places at these two events for the first time this year. If either challenge appeals to you please find more information here.

Closer to Home

What is happening closer to home? There is our own Leap of Faith! event on Saturday 15th June. Once again we will be abseiling down the Bath Abbey tower for Genesis Trust and the Footprint Project.

Other events are Bike Bath on 30th June – 25, 50 and 80-mile routes starting from the Rec in Bath and this year heading out to Cheddar Gorge.

We also have the Bath Marches on 13th July. This event offers two challenge walking routes of 12 and 22 miles from the Holburne Museum and then out in to the beautiful countryside to the north of Bath.

For both these events we have free places for people happy to raise sponsorship for Genesis.

Other Ideas?

Finally, many adventurous and challenge-seeking folks do their own thing and we love that too. Run, cycle, swim, skydive, abseil, climb a mountain, or walk a very long way, the options are numerous.

For those who have risen to the challenge already – we thank you. For those who have a dream – please get in touch!

If you are interested in any of these challenge events, find more information here.
