Your old or unused items can make a big difference to the people we support. At our daily drop-in centre, Lifeline, we give out clothing to homeless people to keep them warm and dry. At our Furniture Project we provide low-cost furniture to people who have recently moved off the streets or those on low incomes. Any profits we make is used to fund our other projects.
We are always in need of clothing and greatly appreciate any donations- trousers, shirts, boots and shoes, underwear, coats and even bedding, camping equipment, and household goods- whatever you have, it will go to good use. See our current list of required items.
We can accept donations at the new Lifeline Centre (formerly Gateway Centre), London Road, BA1 6DH on weekdays between 10am-12pm from Friday 5th April 2019.
Please note due to our move to London Road we are no longer accepting clothing items at the Friends Meeting House, York Street.
We take a whole range of household items from sofas, tables and beds, to duvets, pots and pans, and we’ll come pick them up for free. They must be in good condition and re-saleable. We do not take second-hand electrical items. See our current list of required items and typical prices.
Please bring your household items to the Furniture Project
