Are you a business?

From volunteering to gifts in kind to taking part in challenge events to making us your charity of the year, there are so many ways businesses can get involved and support the Genesis Trust. Whether you’d like to work together on a one off fundraising event or build a more long-term charity partnership we’d love to work with you.

Here are a few ways we could work together –

Charity of the year

Why not choose the Genesis Trust as your charity of the year? We’d love to work with you to support your business objectives and together we can make a huge difference to the lives of homeless and vulnerable people in Bath.

In 2016 Sharp Family Law, Cyclescheme, The Abbey Hotel and Bath City Football Club chose us as their charity of year, we’d be delighted to hear from more local businesses!

We are very open to companies sponsoring an event to raise money and happy to discuss any ideas you might have.

Run your own event

Why not run your very own fundraising event? Whether it is a sponsored silence, pub quiz, cycle ride, bake sale, marathon or a bbq, there are so many ways you can fundraise for the Genesis Trust. Why not download a copy of the Genesis Trust Fundraising Pack and get in touch with our fundraising team today? Call Hilary on 01225 463549.

We have a number of long term volunteering opportunities available to corporates. Why not help us serve lunches at our Lunch Box project, offer a listening ear to those who drop into our Lifeline  Centre or help with furniture removals and deliveries at our Furniture Project?  Whether you want to give an hour a week or a day a month, there is something for everyone.

Gifts in Kind

We’re always really grateful to receive gifts of services and goods, here are a few ways in which local companies and businesses have helped us in the past.

Fine Cheese company

Fine Cheese company

In October 2015 we held a special party to celebrate 25 years of our nightly soup run. Local chefs Rachel Demuth, Chris Staines and Rob Clayton all cooked delicious soups for over 100 guests and the Fine Cheese company provided amazing cheeses to accompany the soup and bread. Our soup run is based on Walcot Street in a car park and the Cheese company shop is nearby.

A fantastic anniversary cake!

A fantastic anniversary cake!

Local cake company Bath Babycakes donated a delicious cake to our Soup Run 25 party. We went to local company’s looking for quotes for a cake and owner Hannah offered to make one for free. She did a great job using our colours and logo and there wasn’t a crumb left!

Thanks to Bath Babycakes
