Charity Skydive
Next Skydive is to be announced
Register your interest by clicking HERE. A charity skydive is a fantastic way to raise money for Genesis Trust and it’s a real adventure as well for you personally. Why not combine the two: have a blast, create a lifetime memory and do it to support the needs of homeless and vulnerable people? A skydive will be something you’ll talk about for years afterwards and it would also be a great team building event for a school or a business.
Are you a corporate team?
If your company would like to skydive and have a corporate team building day, we can make that happen. Please click ‘Corporate Team’ on the form below and we will get back in touch with you. We can either schedule a skydive date specifically for your company or you can join one of our already scheduled skydives. Keep in mind, Go Skydive is only open Fridays to Mondays.
Very inexpensive charity skydive
For the Genesis Skydive, all we ask is that you pay the £50 deposit (the normal price of a tandem skydive is £270) and then fundraise for us with a goal of raising at least £500 per person. The rest of the cost will be paid out of your fundraising.
We do our charity skydives with Go Skydive in Salisbury who are a professional tandem skydive organisation with brilliant customer service. The professional jumpers have all jumped 1000s of times (they’re still alive too!) and will make your day fun.
To register your interest in our charity skydive, please fill in our online registration form below and we will get back to you with more information. We will support you through the whole process.
Important! Must read!
- You must be 16 years old or older to do a tandem skydive in the UK.
- And you aren’t necessarily too old to do a skydive. At one of our skydives an 85 year old lady who had recovered from cancer did it. You just need to consider if you have any medical conditions that would be dangerous for you as a skydive is an intense activity.
- Unfortunately, if you are 18 stone or more (including clothes) you will not be able to skydive.
What Genesis Trust does
Genesis Trust exists to offer immediate practical help to people who are homeless and vulnerable, and provide long-term help and opportunities for them through our interlinked projects to rebuild their lives. We work individually with people on their journey from despair to hope, from crisis to independence. You can read more about how we support our clients through our interlinked projects by clicking What We Do.
What Bath, Keynsham & Somer Valley Foodbank does
The Foodbank supports families and individuals facing crisis with 3-days worth of nutritional food. They also provide further support so people will not regularly need the Foodbank. The Foodbank is a part of Genesis Trust. You can read more about the Foodbank here.
