SOURCING ASSISTANT

Genesis Trust Furniture is a social enterprise that accepts high-quality furniture donations, which are then sold on eBay as pre-loved items to raise funds for the Genesis Trust. By contributing, you’ll not only help improve lives but also assist in reducing waste that would otherwise end up in landfills.

We are currently seeking a Sourcing Assistant to join our team.

The role of our Sourcing Assistant will include a variety of responsibilities, such as: 

• Manage incoming furniture donation requests via email, telephone, WhatsApp and then booking these onto a scheduler.
• Actively sourcing free furniture product by contacting customers on Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree and other free marketplace sites.
• Driving Gift Aid revenues
• Work closely with the team to ensure incoming stock demands are met.
• Assist with co-ordinating social media output through Facebook, Instagram, Website and eBay.

Job Type: Part Time – Fixed term contract 6 months 

• Monday – Friday 9.30am – 2.30pm (negotiation may be possible on times)
• Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 pro rata
