Donating furniture is simple

• We aim to collect within 7 days.

Quality furniture that we collect:

• Sofas
• Wardrobes
• Dining tables and chairs
• Wooden and metal bed frames (no single beds or divan beds)
• Chest of drawers
• Armchairs
• Sideboards
• Dressers

Unfortunately, we cannot collect the following:

• Electrical items (Contact Bath Share & Repair to donate electrical items)
• Upholstered furniture without a fire label
• Furniture that’s not real wood (MDF)
• Items in poor condition or that smell of smoke
• Mattresses (Good options to dispose of your mattress)
• Divan beds
• Single beds
• Children’s furniture

Items must be Sellable

To cover the cost of our free furniture collection service and raise funds for the charity, we need to be able to sell the items you donate. Our van crew cannot accept items that cannot be sold. This means items have to meet legal health and safety conditions, be in good condition and not smell of smoke.

Please keep in mind, if we can’t sell the item then we have to take it to the tip which costs the charity money.
