On the 6th and 7th July we are offering you the once in a lifetime chance to abseil from the top of the Bath Abbey tower. We’re aiming to raise £20,000 to support homeless, hungry and vulnerable people in the city, and fund sustainable renovations at Bath Abbey. This adventurous challenge will enable you to make a lasting difference to people in your community – so don’t miss out!
Coordinated by Dave Talbot Adventure Events, the abseil will begin with a climb up 212 steps to the top tower, which at a staggering 49m high, offers beautiful vistas of the surrounding landscape. After roping up, the abseilers will lower themselves three-quarters of the way down to a landing platform below. There’ll also be plenty of entertainment at ground level with courtyard music and information stalls.
We couldn’t be more excited for this innovative fundraising collaboration, and for the impact that it will have. All the money raised will be shared between ourselves and the Bath Abbey Footprint Project.
With just 100 places available over the two days, you need to be quick if you want to take part. Sign up here today.
