Our involvement in the 2.6 Challenge has been a roaring success. Huge thanks go to everyone who has taken part, and to everyone who’s donated in support of their efforts.
The national event was initiated because of the postponement of the London Marathon, a day when many thousands of people would have raised funds for their chosen charity. The loss of this event, and many others besides, represents a huge dent in the funds of the majority of charities.
Instead, the 2.6 Challenge has enabled anyone to get involved doing whatever they fancied from the comfort and safety of their homes and gardens. Our supporters have really stepped up to the plate to make it work so well. We’ve had obstacle courses, knitting, cartoon-drawing, stair-climbing, Ergo marathons and of course running – and we really appreciate every drop of effort and energy which has contributed to making the event so great.
If you missed the chance to get involved, you can still donate .
