Many people have been using the lockdown to have a bit of a clear-out, and for some, decluttering has become all the rage. No-one wants to see landfill being used for re-useable things, but with access to charity shops and recycling centres a bit of a problem, what do you do with your stuff?
Here’s a brilliant scheme enabling you to rid your home of unwanted surplus without the need to leave your home, whilst at the same time generating much-needed funds for Genesis Trust.
In conjunction with trade-in site Ziffit, you can ditch your unwanted CDs, books, DVDs and games, raising money for us in the process. They’ll even collect from outside your front door, allowing social distancing all the while.
Use the Ziffit website or app to type in or scan the barcode of your items, and at the ‘checkout’ you opt to donate the money to us. You box up your items, leave them outside, and a courier will collect them, contact free and at no cost to you!
This is the link to our Ziffit page, or alternatively you can download the Ziffit app and select Genesis Trust as your chosen charity.
Happy decluttering!
