Support us as a team
All the ways that you can support us as a group
Businesses, schools, organisations and churches have all made a big difference to the people we help, supporting us through fundraising, donating and volunteering. From gifts in kind and sponsorship to challenge events and partnerships, there are so many ways you and your colleagues can get involved. Take some inspiration from below, contact us, or read through our fundraising resources to get started.
Why not focus all your fundraising and volunteering energy on helping people struggling with homelessness in Bath, by choosing us as your charity of the year. We can help you fulfill your CSR aims. Plus, limited companies will pay less Corporation Tax if they donate money to charity.
It’s always fun to get your work teams involved. Why not hold a ‘dress down day’, donate a percentage of your monthly sales to us, get involved with a challenge event or we can even help you to create your own virtual activity challenge! Ask your work to match fund any fundraising you do yourself.
You can support us by donating items to people who visit our projects. Sleeping bags, rucksacks, furniture – we’ll be grateful to receive anything you can spare. You could even donate prizes for a raffle, or place one of our collection tins at your business, café or shop.
If you’re a supermarket or food outlet, make us your back of store partner. We give out food for hungry people at several of our projects. We’ll pick up your items and get them to people who need them.
We’re always grateful to have teams of volunteers support us with the big tasks, or professionals lend us their expertise. You could get involved with our Life Skills workshop if you have a particular talent, or help out at our Furniture Project.
Winter is a particularly tough time for homeless people. You can help by holding a fundraising collection at your work or school. In previous years we have received cash and Christmas boxes from shops, hairdressers, finance companies, schools and churches. Please contact us if you’re thinking of doing this.
