We have received very generous offers of help from local businesses to make sure our Lifeline Christmas party for homeless adults is a huge success this week. Chef Rob Clayton is cooking a traditional festive dinner with all the trimmings for 60 people and Riverford Bath has kindly donated vegetables for the meal. Staff at local company Digital Box have been fund raising to fill shoeboxes with gifts which will be given out by them at the party. We’ve also had many Christmas gifts delivered to our office from pupils at Ralph Allen school & have also received shoeboxes from a campaign run on Facebook : The Homeless Shoe Box appeal. Our thanks to all those who’ve contributed, the presents will be really appreciated by our clients, many of whom have no contact with their families.
