The Genesis Trust strap line New beginnings. Better futures is as good a New Year greeting as any as we step into 2023. It echoes so many of the New Year wishes we offer each other and chimes with our own hopes for a fresh start and good things to come.  Health and Happiness! Love and Laughter! Peace and Prosperity! And one that I found online – Aspiration and Adventure! Well, if the latter is what you are looking for in 2023 then look no further than the Genesis Trust calendar of challenge events.

The events that we have again this year are a mixture of ones that need training and dedication and others that need no training but rather facing your fear and doing it anyway. At Genesis Trust we really value that people are prepared to take on these immense personal challenges to help others who are in need and facing their own life challenges.

Here is a list of our upcoming events this year (you can click the link to read more about each event):

  • TCS London Marathon – Sunday 23rd April – 8 Spaces left. Deadline to register is 7 March
  • Bath Half Marathon – Sunday 15th October – this is great for individuals and for a corporate team
  • Leap of Faith! 2023. Abseil from Bath Abbey Tower –11th March
  • Skydive – Saturday 1st or Sunday 2nd April
  • Bike Bath – Date tbc
  • Bath Marches – Date tbc

The funds raised by people taking on these incredible challenges are vital for keeping Genesis Trust going. We cannot support vulnerable and disadvantaged people through these difficult times without people jumping out of planes and running 13.5 miles around the streets of Bath for us! It may not be for you but please spread the word to others for whom in this new year ‘New adventures are just around the corner!’.
