As The 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon is unable to take place, London Marathon are offering the chance to take part in The 40th Race on Sunday 4 October by running the famous 26.2 mile marathon distance from home or anywhere in the world on the course of your choice. All finishers will receive the coveted finisher medal and New Balance T-shirt.
Entrants have 24 hours to complete the 26.2 miles on Sunday 4 October 2020. You can complete it in stages if you don’t feel you can do it all at once, and you can walk, jog, or run the distance.
The London Marathon will release an app to allow you to track the distance and earn your medal. To take part and raise much needed funds for Genesis Trust we are asking for a £100 fundraising pledge. The places cost Genesis trust £20 but as usual our places are free for our runners.
We have 5 places still available – If you are interested in running The 40th race please contact Hilary – firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline to sign up is 18 September 2020.
