We have recently received a gift left in a supporter’s Will for over £3,000. This incredible gift was left by a long-standing supporter of Genesis Trust and we are so grateful for their commitment to local vulnerable people. But what could this kind of gift provide?

We run a 10-week course called The Life Course for those in recovery from addiction or living with mental ill-health. Recent course attendees include:

  • Eddy, who was sleeping rough, is now managing his drug additions with regular AA meetings and has returned to teaching Spanish.

  • Sean has become an IT support volunteer at our centre, using his skills to help other people.

  • Chloe has felt confident enough to return to her full-time hours now she can manage her mental health effectively.

A gift like our recent Gift in Wills would provide 2 fully-funded Life Course programmes, supporting up to 14 people over 36 sessions, with all the staff support and supplies needed. What an incredible gift to leave for local people like Eddy, Sean and Chloe.
