We are excited to be launching our new Furniture Shop…online!

Yes, we are open again!

The pandemic meant that we had to close our physical shop at West Avenue. However, this has inspired the creation of our online shop and, of course, being online using the eBay platform allows us to sell a wonderful range of excellent quality, pre-loved furniture to a much wider audience.

All of the funds raised through the Furniture Shop support the work of the Genesis Trust with homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Bath and the surrounding area.

Indeed, we are hopeful that our new online Furniture Shop will grow so that it can make an ever greater contribution to the costs of the Genesis Trust’s work. So please tell all your friends that this should be the first place to look for excellent quality, secondhand furniture with the added confidence that all the proceeds will be used for a great cause!

The Furniture Project continues to provide our essential service through agencies of supporting people in need by providing furniture and household items to set up a home. We continue to help people who are struggling financially to apply for funding for furniture and white goods and we aim to have volunteer and trainee opportunities for those wanting to get back into work.

Delivery is arranged to suit the customer (we can deliver locally or by courier if further afield) or there is the option of collection (by appointment only). We will be able to increase the volume that we can deal with and so will be welcoming increasing donations of good quality furniture.

The Furniture Shop is open. Please take a look.

Notes:

Please note that the Furniture Shop is not based at West Avenue and that there is no physical access for customers – all customer access is online.

If you wish to donate furniture please look at our website to see what we need and can accept. Please get in touch with us at furniture@genesistrust.org.uk or call 01225 421111.
